We often fail to express our feelings to our loved ones or even others for that matter. We tie ourselves up to the process of ‘What will the other person think? How will he react? What if they don’t react the way I would like them to react?’ And the chain of thoughts and conditions is never-ending.

Amidst all these thoughts, what we don’t realize is that we are wasting the crucial time that we have in hand. Express your feelings before you lose that person, voice your opinion before the matter is closed, share your views when the argument is taking a bad turn and turn your thoughts into words because if you don’t, then no one is going to do it for you.

For instance, in a typical relationship, a girl generally says, ‘I am fine, or nothing is wrong’ when she knows exactly what is bothering her, but then again she waits for her partner to decode her silence. The poor guy doesn’t even know what’s up with her, but still, he sits there either guessing what’s wrong or simply worsening the situation at hand. This situation can be applicable to know the situation. Give voice to your thoughts, use the power of speech, use the words and don’t complicate things. It is always better to talk things out rather than make the other person guess what is wrong with you.

We, humans, are blessed with the power of speech, we can clearly express ourselves and our emotions through it, then why not use this power that we are bestowed with? Either use your words to express or lose in the vast hole of nothingness.

We are often so scared to convey our feelings to that one particular person, that we end up losing them. Sure, it takes a lot of courage to go up to that person and open your mouth, but hey, you will never find out the answer to the ‘what-if’ unless you try! What would be the worst thing that could happen? You will be shut down? Rejected? What more? But think of it this way, what if everything happened as per your wish?

Instead of looking at the negatives, start believing in the positives, and you might even end up attracting it towards you!

Express and use your words!
