L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Serum Review

Hey, you guys!

I wasn’t much into serums, but after my sister did her smoothening treatment, she started using one. So, since a serum was already at home, I thought why not maybe try it. And, it was amazing! I mean what it did to my hair was simply mind-blowing. However, her serum was for chemically treated hair, so I thought of investing in some regular serum since I don’t have chemically treated hair. Around the same time, Nykaa had some offers going on, and I thought of giving L’Oreal Total Repair 5 – Smoothening and Repairing Serum, a try.
Let’s take a look at review to know if it really stands by its tagline Because you are worth it:

Packaging:
It comes in a little bottle, which is very handy for carrying around too. But the cap takes up most of the space. I mean, it is almost equal to the bottom half, that is the main bottle. But nonetheless, it does the job of dispensing the serum well.

Product Description:
The product claims to make your hair smooth, easy to comb and frizz-free. Also, creates a protective shield against damage and split ends.

Application:
You just have to take a few drops of the serum onto your palms and after rubbing your palms together, evenly distribute it along the lengths of your hair. For best results, use on damp hair.

Verdict:
The serum seemed a bit too oily for me and the consistency is runny as well. It made my hair tangle-free, however it didn’t leave it to look smooth and silky and they definitely looked frizzy. It made my hair super oily right on the second day itself.
Will I buy it? No, I don’t think so, I mean, I have tried better hair serums than this one. Although it is cheap and easily available, if you can then I would suggest you can give this one a miss.

Quantity:
40 ml

Price:
₹155/-

Where to buy:
You can easily get this product from any drugstore or online. I got this one from Nykaa at ₹132/-

Have you tried this product? What did you think about it?
XOXO
