Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquer: Review & Swatches

Whenever it comes to Nail Paints or Nail Art, my safe bet has always been French Tips, I mean come on, they are easy to apply, classy and go with just anything. But the moment I came across the Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquer, I knew that I just had to try it on as I don’t really like something too dark or glossy on my nails. Promising myself to buy just one nail paint I logged on to the Nykaa Website, but looking at all the pretty shades from the matte collection, I just couldn’t control myself and ended buying three shades.

Let’s jump straight to the Review now:

I loved how the frosted glass bottles look. I think it makes it look very cute yet stylish and adds a fun element to your makeup table. The wand is a nice long one, which makes the application quite easy.

The nail paint has a good consistency and spreads well on the nails with easy strokes. However, for a good paint, I would suggest two coats. I also liked the fact that it dries super quickly and you don’t really have to wait between the two coats.

Lasting Power:
It has been more than a week now since I have been wearing it and guess what? It doesn’t chip! It is a blessing to have such nail paints that don’t chip.

Close your eyes and buy as many shades as you can, totally worth it. Also, they are mostly chemical free. The shades are fun, cute and edgy. You NEED to try them on.

₹199/- (they do have great combo offers too)

Where to buy:
From their website:

Shades and Swatches:

Pink Meringue: A pretty pink shade that looks very elegant and subtle.

Blueberry Macaron: A cool blue shade that gives out a good summery vibe. I personally love this one as it looks refreshing.

Blueberry Frosting: It looks like a cool gray shade, also very subtle even for a formal look.

PS: In spite of being a festive week, they delivered the items really quick. So a thumbs up for the good service as well.

Have you tried the Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquer, yet?
