Blessed

How incredibly I have been blessed with such beautiful and warm grandparents! But I just wish I could live with them. They are my maternal grandparents. A house feels strong when it has the hand of elders on it. Just their mere shadow is enough.

My grandma is the coolest. Up-to-date with all the latest technology and their uses. Aware of everything happening in and around. Any problem, be it a zit or financial issue, she has all the little grandma tips. And trust me, the tips and tricks do work. My grandpa is the strongest man I know of. From all the stories I have heard through my mother to sitting with him on the window eating nuts to what I see today, he definitely is the strongest.

Nani, as I call my grandma, takes care of nanaji (grandpa) so well that it brings tears to my eyes. She is old, her health issues are also seen floating, but when it comes to taking care of nanaji, she keeps everything aside and justs be there for him.

It is this love, care, concern, trust, forever, bond that makes me like them more. I wish I had them with me throughout my growing years. I conclude this in just four words: I LOVE MY GRANDPARENTS.

  1. I know what you mean, and I agree. You’re right. Some things are better unsaid; like how you wish you could live with them. It might not be good to share that ๐Ÿ™‚

But you could tell them how cool they are and how much you appreciate their influence. As a grandparent, myself, I know that sometimes we need that little bit of appreciation to keep us going. Even just a little card that says, “Thank you for being my grandparents” would make a world of difference in their lives.
